Day 9 of #inktober2018 . April’s birth month flower is the daisy. I don’t know why months need flowers or stones. I also don’t know why the flowers need to symbolize anything. But the daisy apparently symbolizes beauty, innocence, love and purity. . Also, I feel like I’m cheating by using digital ink for #inktober. But it’s so much fun! View in Instagram...

Day 6 of #inktober2018 I had a choice for January’s birth flower. It was either carnations or snowdrops. Since carnations say nothing to me by 1980s prom, I chose the snowdrop. I’m having a lot of fun with these flower drawings and am trying not to do what my natural inclination is and obsessively draw flowers all day and night. I’m glad I’m doing it as a daily challenge for Inktober and limiting myself to one a day. Otherwise I’d never get any other work done! View in Instagram...
